Meerlust Rubicon 2017 Magnum Gift Pack

The Meerlust Rubicon exudes exceptional charm and drinkability, even in its youth—a testament to the elevated composition of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Careful attention was given to the tannic structure, as some of the later Cabernet exhibited astringency that we sought to minimize in the final blend. The wine captivates with exotic aromas of ripe plum, sandalwood, and a hint of delicate perfume, all lightly accented by creamy vanilla.

On the palate, it presents a medium-bodied profile with forward notes of cassis and mulberry, supported by a lithe, refined tannic structure and vibrant, juicy fruit. The overall impression is one of grace and elegance, favoring finesse over sheer power.
