Van Loggerenberg Wines is a family-run winery founded by Lukas van Loggerenberg. Based in Paarl, the winery makes low-intervention, site-specific wines from vineyards mainly in the Stellenbosch and Swartland appellations.
After the maiden 2016 vintage, Van Loggerenberg quickly established a reputation as one of the most exciting wine producers in the Cape. With wonderful interpretations of Chenin Blanc, Cinsaut, Cabernet Franc and Syrah, Lukas has carved out a unique offering in South African wine.
Since 2022 there has been stability and harmony to Lukas’ setup that has allowed him to increase the quality and precision of the Van Loggerenberg offerings. He has been able to be more unprescriptive in his approach and dynamic without being too experimental.
